Job summary

WesBanco is seeking a remote Unified Communications Engineer to design, install, support, and upgrade Cisco UC infrastructure. The role requires strong UC and networking knowledge and the ability to work with minimal supervision while coordinating with multiple teams.

You will monitor systems, troubleshoot VoIP issues, and maintain documentation and reports for end users, peers, and executives. Some in-person meetings may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field plus hands-on experience with Cisco Networking/UCC platforms.
• Experience with Cisco Unified Communications (CUCM/CUC/CER) and VoIP concepts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Unified Communications systems daily to ensure uptime and performance.
• Assist senior team members with platform configuration and design optimization.
• Coordinate with service providers on service issues.
• Create and update technical documentation and diagrams for users and management.
• Provide daily status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Support on-call rotations and emergency responses as needed.
