Job summary

AAA Club Alliance is hiring a Remote Full-Service Travel Agent to plan and book domestic and international vacations. You will assist Members and non-Members via phone, email, and chat, recommending destinations and exclusive AAA benefits while building lasting client relationships.

You’ll handle complex itineraries, stay current on promotions, and ensure compliant reservations. The role emphasizes sales targets, high-quality service, and opportunities to mentor teammates in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent. Travel school graduates are encouraged to apply.
• At least 2 years of recent leisure travel industry sales experience.
• Experience with airline reservation systems, ticketing platforms, GDS, and online booking tools.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel planning.
• Excellent communication, customer service, sales, and problem-solving skills.
• Extensive knowledge of worldwide geography.
• The ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-volume contact center environment.
• Ticket void and basic exchange experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and book domestic and international vacations, including customized FIT itineraries.
• Assist Members and non-Members through phone, email, and web chat.
• Recommend destinations, travel products, and AAA benefits based on traveler’s needs.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships that generate repeat business.
• Stay informed about travel promotions, destinations, and industry trends.
• Process travel reservations in compliance with ARC regulations and AAA policies.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell travel products that enhance the customer experience.
• Meet established sales and performance goals while delivering exceptional service.
• Resolve travel-related issues and assist with itinerary changes; provide guidance to fellow associates.
