Job summary

AAA Club Alliance is seeking a Remote Full-Service Travel Agent to plan and book domestic and international trips for Members and non-Members with access to AAA benefits. You will handle bookings, recommendations, and personalized itineraries entirely from home, supported by paid training and a schedule that includes one weekend day.

You will assist via phone, email and web chat, stay current on promotions, process ARC-compliant reservations, and pursue upsell opportunities while meeting sales

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; travel school graduates encouraged.
• At least 2 years in leisure travel industry sales.
• Experience with airline reservation systems, GDS, and online booking tools.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel planning.
• Excellent communication, customer service, sales and problem-solving skills.
• Extensive knowledge of worldwide geography.
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-volume contact center.

Responsibilities

• Plan and book domestic and international vacations, including customized FIT itineraries.
• Assist Members and non-Members through phone, email, and web chat.
• Recommend destinations, travel products, and AAA benefits based on traveler needs.
• Stay informed about travel promotions, destinations, and industry trends.
• Process travel reservations in compliance with ARC regulations and AAA policies.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
• Meet sales and performance goals while delivering exceptional service.
• Resolve travel-related issues and assist with itinerary changes.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to fellow Travel Contact Center Associates.
