Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Travel Advisor to help our customers plan and book luxury travel with ease.

You will support internal and external customers with travel reservations, resolving issues through diagnosis and discussion, and negotiating with external providers to minimize costs while ensuring a seamless experience. Responsibilities include handling inquiries, collaborating with internal teams, maintaining product knowledge, and coaching peers on best practices.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in the travel industry.
• Experience with Global Distribution System (GDS) and/or other technology platforms, including self-booking tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities, with multi-screen use.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries about travel arrangements and resolve issues focusing on short- and long-term fixes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and deliver timely resolutions with high accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of client programs, products, and procedures, and support online booking tools and multiple websites.
• Negotiate with vendors and external customers to reach acceptable resolutions, including loyalty points, program exceptions, and fee waivers.
• Maintain high call quality and confidentiality; inform supervisor of significant issues and propose alternatives.
• Assist other Travel Advisors in real time, coach on best practices, monitor errors and escalations, and update tracking information.
