Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to apply data-driven CI methods across operations, delivering improvements in safety, quality, delivery and cost.

You will interface with employees at all levels and drive lean initiatives, data analytics and automation projects. Responsibilities include data collection, analysis, leading Kaizen events, transformation plan development, and reporting progress to site leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in transportation or supply chain.
• Transportation experience is necessary (TMS, LTL/FTL).
• Strong data visualization with Power BI/Tableau; SQL/DAX knowledge.
• Experience with Lean tools and continuous improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and performs statistical analysis to improve operations.
• Lead CI initiatives, Kaizen events, and value stream mapping.
• Develop transformation plans and manage go-live certifications.
• Coach teams in lean principles and engage cross-functional stakeholders.
• Provide regular progress reports against site objectives.
