Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer to lead the planning, design, and delivery of high‑voltage overhead transmission projects. You will coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and interact with clients to ensure successful outcomes.

The role requires a PE license, 7–10 years of experience in transmission, and strong PLS‑CADD knowledge. A flexible work arrangement with remote options across the Northeast region is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• PE licensure and registration as a professional engineer.
• Strong knowledge of transmission line fundamentals and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Develop initial project execution layouts and schedules.
• Maintain project schedules and lead weekly/bi-weekly meetings.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders on project status.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures and safety standards are followed.
• Lead and mentor project teams across multidisciplinary groups.
• Travel to client offices/field/vendor facilities as needed.
