Job summary
WSP USA is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer to join the Power Delivery team. The role offers flexible work arrangements, including remote work or an office location in the Rocky Mountain region.
The position provides technical leadership for planning, design, and delivery of high-voltage overhead transmission lines, including client interactions, proposals, and construction support. Ideal candidates have 7–10 years of transmission experience, PE licensure, and strong PLS-CADD and
Qualifications
- In-depth experience designing and managing transmission projects.
- Strong knowledge of PLS-CADD and transmission line fundamentals.
- PE licensure and understanding of related codes and standards.
- Excellent written and oral communication in English.
Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering of transmission projects up to 765 kV.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets with PMs.
- Coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams and clients.
- Ensure QA/QC, safety, and regulatory compliance in deliverables.
