Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer to join our Power Delivery Team.

Flexible work arrangements include remote work or office options in the Rocky Mountain region, with preferred onsite locations in Denver and surrounding states. The role provides technical leadership for planning, design, and delivery of high‑voltage overhead lines, involving research, client interactions, scheduling, and staff mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
• 7-10 years’ experience in transmission project design/management.
• Professional Engineering (PE) licensure required.
• Understanding of NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95.
• Strong understanding of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD operation.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Commitment to workplace safety and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Create and maintain a project schedule and lead project meetings.
• Coordinate with clients on project status and deliverables.
• Support Project Managers with scope, schedule, and budget for new projects.
• Forecast project requirements to aid resource planning.
• Adhere to QA/QC procedures and quality standards.
• Lead and mentor project teams across disciplines.
