Job summary

WSP Global Inc. seeks a Transmission Line Project Engineer to join our Power Delivery Team with flexible work options, including remote work or office presence in the Central region.

You will lead engineering for high‑voltage transmission projects up to 765 kV, develop schedules, coordinate with clients, mentor staff, and support PMs with scope, budget, and forecasting while upholding QA/QC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 5-7 years' experience in the transmission field designing/managing projects.
• PE licensure.
• Understanding of the NESC, RUS, and GO-95.
• Strong transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD knowledge.
• Strong English communication skills (written and oral).
• Experience using MS Office; adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and engineer transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Create and maintain a project schedule.
• Coordinate with clients and conduct project meetings.
• Support PMs with scope, schedule, and budget; provide updates.
• Assist in recruitment, forecasting, and department improvements.
• Travel to client offices/field/vendor facilities as needed.
