Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer to lead high-voltage transmission projects and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams. The role demands technical leadership in planning, design, and delivery, with travel to client sites as needed and collaboration across Rocky Mountain offices.

Ideal candidates have a PE license, 7–10 years in transmission, and strong PLS-CADD and design capabilities, with excellent English communication and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering required, PE preferred.
7–10 years of transmission design/management experience.
Strong knowledge of NESC, RUS, GO-95 standards.
Proficient in PLS-CADD and MS Office; excellent English communication.
Professional licensure and safety compliance experience.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering of transmission projects up to 765 kV.
Develop initial project execution layouts and schedules.
Coordinate with clients on status and meetings.
Maintain project workflow across multi-disciplinary teams.
Ensure QA/QC adherence and safety standards.
Mentor staff and contribute to business development.
