Zusammenfassung

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Design Engineer II, Transmission to own the preliminary design and engineering lifecycle for utility-scale solar and related projects. The role is fully remote, with location discussions to occur during interviews.

You will lead routing, conductor and structure sizing, and coordinate with internal teams, clients, and engineers to ensure design quality and alignment with project milestones and standards.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, civil, or related engineering.
• PE licensure is a nice-to-have.
• 3+ years of experience in transmission line design or related power engineering.
• Proficiency with design software such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, PLS-TOWER, AutoCAD or MicroStation.

Aufgaben

• Own the first-pass preliminary transmission line design and technical ownership for 10% design deliverables.
• Coordinate with estimating, scheduling, and BD to align scope, route, and commercial assumptions.
• Lead development of the 10% design including routing, conductor sizing, and structure selection.
• Review client documents and satisfy requirements outside SOLV standards and coordinate with internal teams.
