SOLV Energy is seeking a Design Engineer II, Transmission for fully remote work across utility-scale solar and related projects. You will own the preliminary line design lifecycle, align scope and schedule, and coordinate with multiple teams to refine routing, conductor sizing, and interconnection details.

You will serve as the technical owner from kickoff to handoff, ensuring compliance with standards and delivering clear design decisions. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, civil, or related engineering.
• Experience in transmission line design and engineering.
• Familiarity with NESC, IEEE, and utility requirements.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Own the preliminary transmission line design and technical ownership for projects.
• Lead development of the 10% transmission line design and routing.
• Coordinate with estimators, schedulers, and other teams for alignment.
• Review client documents and identify requirements, risks, and scope.
• Engage with clients and internal stakeholders on design decisions.
• Coordinate proposals with EORs and subcontractors and ensure alignment.
• Handoff design scope and risks to Preconstruction team for execution.
