Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in San Francisco, CA seeks a Trades Sales Specialist to strengthen our commercial construction field sales team as a virtual employee in your assigned territory.

You will target end-user customers, manage relationships, and drive sales of DEWALT, STANLEY, CRAFTSMAN and other brands while leveraging Salesforce and marketing partnerships. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years sales/marketing in construction supplies, strong communication skills, and up to 50%

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing for Construction Supplies with a proven track record delivering results and experience selling to high-level executives, C-Suite, and jobsite directors preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to meld empathy with determination to achieve outstanding results.
• Valid Driver’s License and travel up to 50% within territory assignment.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Achieve top-line sales targets based on division and local market goals & objectives through selling our brands to end-user customers.
• Establish, develop, and maintain key relationships with end-user partners through product and services solutions and management of contracts and programs.
• Teach and mentor local market teams on End User development and purchasing processes.
• Partner with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives.
• Maintain and use Salesforce.com as a CRM and Planning tool and communicate progress to improve future success.
