Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Trade Specialist to join the Commercial Construction field sales team in the Los Angeles area. The role is field-based with remote elements, focusing on DEWALT, STANLEY, and partner brands.

You will build relationships with end-user partners, mentor local teams, and collaborate with Channel Marketing while using Salesforce to drive opportunities. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields preferred.
• 3+ years of Sales or Marketing experience in Construction Supplies with proven results.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within territory.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Achieve top-line sales targets based on division and local market goals & objectives through selling DEWALT PTE, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, PORTERCABLE brands to end-user customers.
• Establish, develop, and maintain key relationships with end-user partners and manage user contracts and programs.
• Teach and mentor local market team on End User development and purchasing processes.
• Partner with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives.
• Maintain and use SalesForce.com as a CRM and Planning tool and report progress.
