Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Construction/Trades Sales Specialist (Remote/Field Travel) for the NY/NJ region.

You will drive sales of DEWALT, STANLEY, CRAFTSMAN, and other brand lines to end-user customers from a remote location and travel up to 60% within the territory as needed. Requirements include 3+ years in construction supplies sales, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience selling to executives is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing for Construction Supplies with a proven track record delivering results and experience selling to high-level executives, C-Suite, and jobsite directors preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to travel up to 50% within territory.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Sell DEWALT PTE, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, PORTERCABLE brands to end-user customers.
• Teach and mentor local market teams on End User development and purchasing processes.
• Maintain and use SalesForce.com as a CRM and Planning tool; communicate successes and failures to improve processes.
• Achieve top-line sales targets based on division and local market goals.
