Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Part-Time Tier 1 Customer Service Agent to support the Training Services Team. This remote role is open to candidates located anywhere in the United States with a schedule of 4-5 days per week and variable hours in the afternoon/evening Eastern Time.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish and will answer inbound calls and emails, perform basic troubleshooting, and ensure resolution while meeting production targets.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications for fast-paced, remote work.
• Ability to work in a team and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and emails from learners, instructors, and organizations.
• Update account records and note reason and resolution of inquiries.
• Handle basic inquiries such as account maintenance, class information, and usage issues.
• Maintain daily production standards (AHT, calls per hour, email per hour, quality).
• Triage complex problems and route callers accordingly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
