Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking Part-Time Tier 1 Customer Service Agents to support our Training Services Team. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish and committed to delivering outstanding customer service.

This is a remote position available to candidates located anywhere in the United States and will start on or around January 4th, 2027. Responsibilities include handling inbound calls and emails, updating records, and ensuring timely resolution.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service, sales, or call center experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication and ability to work with potentially difficult customers.
• Proficiency with computer applications; ability to work in a fast-paced virtual call center.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and emails from learners and instructors and resolve issues.
• Update account records and document reason and resolution of inquiries.
• Handle basic inquiries such as account maintenance and class information.
• Maintain daily production standards for call handling and emails.
• Provide guidance to volunteers and follow procedures and regulations.
