Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking Part-Time Tier 1 Customer Service Agents to support our Training Services Team. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish and committed to delivering outstanding customer service.

This remote position is available to candidates located anywhere in the United States and will start on or around January 4th, 2027. Hours are 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. ET, with a minimum of 25 hours per week and 4–5 days of work.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• 1 year of customer service, sales, or call center experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills; strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in using computer applications to meet customer needs in a fast-paced work-from-home environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and emails from learners, instructors, and organizations.
• Use system information and job aids to resolve inquiries and update records.
• Handle basic inquiries such as account maintenance, class information, and usage issues.
• Maintain daily production standards: AHT, calls/hour, emails/hour, online time, quality.
• Triage complex problems and route callers to appropriate resources.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
