Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation invites you to join our remote Collections Specialist team from home. With 2+ years in third-party debt collection and strong negotiation skills, you’ll drive resolutions while meeting regulatory standards.

You’ll handle inbound/outbound calls, negotiate settlements, use skip-tracing tools, manage portfolios, document precisely, and maintain a professional remote workspace in a performance-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• Ability to maintain a professional, distraction-minimized remote workspace for confidential conversations.
• Experience in a high-volume collections environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding collection goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Use skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned portfolios and prioritize collection activities to maximize recovery.
• Strive toward personal and departmental performance goals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Provide professional, respectful customer interactions in difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local collection laws and company policies.
