Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking a Remote Collections Specialist to join our team from home. Bring 2+ years of third-party debt collection experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a disciplined remote workspace to help maximize recovery while maintaining compliance and professional interactions.

You’ll handle inbound/outbound calls, negotiate settlements, use skip-tracing tools, and manage portfolios in a performance-driven, remote setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Proven ability to negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette.
• Working knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations.
• Professional, distraction-free remote workspace.
• Experience in high-volume collections environment.
• Familiarity with skip-tracing tools.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Record of meeting or exceeding collection goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned account portfolios and prioritize collection activities to maximize recovery opportunities.
• Consistently work toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Deliver professional, respectful customer interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and regulatory requirements.
