You will manage inbound and outbound calls, negotiate settlements, and use skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers, while staying compliant with laws and policy requirements.

The role emphasizes performance-driven outcomes, independence, and the ability to maintain professional communication during challenging conversations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage accounts and negotiate payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization.

Responsibilities

• Managing inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiating payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' circumstances.
• Utilizing skip-tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and assets.
• Managing assigned account portfolios and prioritizing collection activities to maximize recovery opportunities.
• Consistently working toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Delivering professional, respectful customer interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local collection laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintaining consistent communication with management and team members while working remotely.
