LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking a seasoned Remote Collections Specialist to operate from home and drive successful resolutions on delinquent accounts. You will build rapport with borrowers, negotiate payment arrangements, and maintain compliant, thorough account records.

In this role, you’ll handle inbound/outbound calls, target performance goals, and ensure adherence to debt collection laws while supporting a nationwide collections team from a confidential home workspace.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Professionalism, reliability, accountability, and a positive attitude.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to maintain a professional, distraction-minimized remote workspace suitable for confidential customer conversations.
• Reliable internet connectivity sufficient to perform job responsibilities.
• Ability to remain available, responsive, and productive throughout scheduled working hours.
• Must reside and work in an LCS-approved state.

Responsabilités

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned account portfolios and prioritize collection activities to maximize recovery opportunities.
• Work toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Deliver professional, respectful customer interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local collection laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain consistent communication with management and team members while working remotely.
