Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking an experienced Remote Collections Specialist to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts and manage portfolios from home. You will work within a performance-driven environment, maintaining professional interactions and strict regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include inbound/outbound calls, payment arrangements, skip-tracing, and meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Professionalism, reliability, accountability, and a positive attitude.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to maintain a professional, distraction-minimized remote workspace suitable for confidential conversations.
• Reliable internet connectivity.
• Must reside and work in an LCS-approved state.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets.
• Oversee assigned portfolios and prioritize activities to maximize recovery.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Deliver professional, respectful interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local collection laws and company policies.
• Maintain communication with management and team while working remotely.
