Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking seasoned Remote Collections Specialists to join a nationwide team. You’ll negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts, manage portfolios, and ensure compliant, professional interactions from a home office.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in third-party debt collection, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting performance goals in a remote, performance-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned account portfolios and prioritize collection activities to maximize recovery.
• Meet individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Deliver professional, respectful customer interactions while handling difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with management and team members while working remotely.
