Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking experienced Remote Collections Specialists to work from home. The role focuses on negotiating resolutions, managing delinquent accounts, and maintaining compliant, professional communications while supporting a nationwide collections team.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in third‑party debt collection, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette.
• Ability to work independently while meeting team goals.
• Knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• Reliable internet connectivity and a dedicated remote workspace.
• Must reside in an LCS-approved state.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned account portfolios and prioritize collection activities to maximize recovery.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local collection laws and company policies.
• Maintain professional, respectful interactions while working remotely.
• Communicate with management and team members regularly.
