Nationwide, a Fortune 100 company, seeks a Territory Manager, Specialty Care Business Development for remote work in the Eastern Time Zone. This role focuses on Commercial Lines Middle Market in Human Services and Nonprofit sectors, traveling to agency partners about 25 times yearly.

The position emphasizes market development, risk assessment, and agency collaboration to drive growth, profitability, and client service within a national footprint.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• 7+ years underwriting and sales experience in commercial business preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial underwriting, pricing and coverage for middle market business.
• Ability to build and maintain cooperative partnerships.
• Overtime Eligibility: Not Eligible (Exempt).
• Multiline commercial insurance underwriting experience, including underwriting authority.
• Human Services and Nonprofit industry-specific experience.
• Strong business development skills with agency management orientation.
• Casualty lines specialty experience: General Liability, Professional Liability, Abuse & Molestation.

Responsabilidades

• Market, manage and underwrite commercial business with select agencies or brokers to meet financial goals.
• Lead agencies by creating sales strategies and implementing sales processes to drive new sales and retention.
• Research risk factors and conditions to win accounts.
• Analyze underwriting quality and performance and prepare reports.
• Monitor regional underwriting performance and propose corrective plans.
• Achieve production, profitability and service objectives.
• Quote, price and underwrite new and renewal policies for complex accounts.
• Monitor risk selection and pricing decisions across agency plant.
