Nationwide is seeking a Territory Manager, Specialty Care Business Development to market, manage and underwrite commercial business with select agencies or brokers. This remote role supports Human Services and Nonprofit segments across the Eastern Time Zone, with travel to agency partners expected.

You will drive profit, develop sales plans, monitor underwriting performance, and build strong agency relationships to expand book of business.

Qualifications

• Human Services and Nonprofit industry experience is preferred.
• Strong business development skills with agency management orientation.
• Seven years of progressively more responsible underwriting and sales experience in commercial business preferred.

Responsabilités

• Market, manage and underwrite commercial business with select agencies or brokers.
• Drive profit and premium to meet financial goals through developing, negotiating and implementing business plans.
• Lead and influence agencies by creating sales strategies and implementing sales processes and practices.
• Analyze risk, environment and other factors to win the account.
• Quotes, prices and underwrites new and renewal policies for complex or service sensitive accounts.
