Nationwide is seeking a Territory Manager, Specialty Care Business Development to market, manage and underwrite commercial business with select agencies or brokers. This role emphasizes profitability, agency development and delivering tailored risk solutions in Human Services and Nonprofit segments.

The position requires extensive travel, underwriting authority, and strong sales execution to meet growth targets while supporting enterprise products and agency relationships across the territory.

Qualifications

• Must have Human Services and Nonprofit industry experience.
• Strong business development skills with agency-management orientation.
• Five+ years handling Human Services and Nonprofit accounts; underwrite Casualty (GL, Professional Liability, Abuse & Molestation).

Responsibilities

• Market, manage and underwrite commercial business with select agencies or brokers.
• Drive profit and premium to meet financial goals through sales plans and strategies.
• Lead and influence agencies with sales processes that drive new sales, shelf space, profit and retention.
• Research risk, environment and other factors to win accounts.
• Quote, price and underwrite new and renewal policies for complex or service-sensitive accounts.
