Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a Balancing Sales Specialist to join our field sales team in North Carolina with remote work options. You will build relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, and building owners, promote Victaulic products, and manage project pursuits from design through commissioning.

Travel, evenings, and weekends may be required to grow the business. You will master our product line, understand competitive joining methods, and stay current on market trends to maximize sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous sales experience with value-added products/services preferred.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight travel as required by territory.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and handle equipment up to 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Learn Victaulic’s full product line and understand how our solutions help customers complete projects on time and within budget.
• Master grooved mechanical pipe joining methods and overcome customer objections.
• Identify major projects and stay current on market trends and competitor activity.
• Partner with the Regional Sales Manager to develop a business plan with sales goals and product promotion plans.
• Execute all phases of project pursuit from inception through final commissioning and after-sale follow-up.
• Develop lasting relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, and building/project owners in your territory.
