Job summary

Victaulic, a global leader in mechanical pipe joining solutions, invites applications for a Balancing Sales Specialist in North Carolina. You will drive growth by understanding project needs, promoting Victaulic products, and building strong relationships with engineers, contractors, and owners.

The role requires willingness to travel, a value-driven sales mindset, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous sales experience with value-added products/services preferred — especially in commercial construction, PVF (pipes, valves, fittings), or mechanical products.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight travel as required by territory.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and handle equipment weighing up to 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Learn Victaulic’s full product line and understand how our solutions help customers complete projects on time and within budget.
• Master grooved mechanical pipe joining methods and competitive methods to overcome objections.
• Understand construction cycles and stay current on market trends and competitor activity.
• Develop relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, and building/project owners in your territory.
• Coordinate with distributors and regional managers to maximize sales potential and execute project pursuit from inception to commissioning.
