Job summary

North American Slate, the American subsidiary of Rathscheck Schiefer, is seeking a Sales Representative with drive, new ideas, creativity and foresight to build partnerships and grow slate product sales in the Southeast region. This role emphasizes relationship-building and proactive territory development.

You will manage the full sales lifecycle, meet contractors and architects, negotiate terms, forecast pipelines and report to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field.
• Three years of outside business-to-business sales experience, preferably in construction-related sectors.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work in regional markets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new customers and build lasting partnerships.
• Meet contractors, suppliers, and architects; negotiate terms and pricing.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to deal close.
• Provide leadership with regular reporting on sales and project oversight.
• Accurately forecast and monitor pipeline to reach targets.
• Manage territory leads, send information and samples, coordinate logistics.
• Estimate, quote, and analyze costs to competitively sell slate products.
• Ongoing account management including lead generation, qualification, presentation, negotiation, closing, and post-sale support.
