Job summary

Sumitomo Pharma America (SMPA) seeks an experienced Territory Sales Manager – Specialty to represent SMPA to customers and drive sales across an assigned U.S. territory. You will own territory performance, develop key accounts, and lead strategy with clinical insights to optimize market share.

You will travel extensively, build deep clinical relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliant, effective execution while achieving revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with two+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Proven track record of top-ranked sales performance (top 25% nationwide).
• Experience in Urology and with a pharmaceutical launch.
• Knowledge of market access formulary positioning, pull-through and push-through.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales objectives and grow market share in assigned territory.
• Establish deep relationships based on clinical and market dynamics.
• Close new business in both new and existing accounts with high potential.
• Support results with clinical expertise and compliant resource use.
• Monitor product/competitor trends and market dynamics, adjust strategy.
• Travel as required; overnight stays and weekend meetings possible.
