Sumitomo Pharma America (SMPA) is seeking a dynamic Territory Sales Manager – Specialty Urology to be the face of SMPA to customers across the United States. The role emphasizes ownership, accountability, and a performance-based environment, with territory assignment to a dedicated manager and a strong emphasis on clinical and market expertise.

The position requires extensive travel (60-80%), a background in pharmaceutical sales (ideally in Urology), and a track record of top-quartile

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related area with two or more years of relevant pharmaceutical sales experience.
Proven, top-ranked sales performance (ideally top 25% of nation).
Experience working within Urology and with pharmaceutical launches.
Knowledge of market access formulary positioning, pull-through and push-through.

Responsibilities

Establish deep, meaningful business relationships based on clinical and market knowledge.
Increase market share by closing new business in prioritized accounts.
Support sales results with clinical expertise and compliant resource use.
Assess and analyze product/competitor trends and market dynamics.
Collaborate with team members with candid, constructive communication.
Travel throughout the territory; overnight stays may be required.
