Sumitomo Pharma America (SMPA) is seeking a dynamic Territory Sales Manager – Specialty to be the face of SMPA to our customers. You will drive sales objectives and grow market share within a defined territory, holding accountability for results.

The role requires deep clinical and market expertise, strategic planning, and the ability to travel 60–80% across the territory. A Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with pharma sales experience is expected; experience in Urology and product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related area with two+ years pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Top-ranked sales performance (ideally top 25% in the nation).
• Experience in Urology.
• Experience with pharmaceutical launches.
• Knowledge of formulary positioning and market access.

Responsibilities

• Establish deep business relationships based on clinical and market expertise.
• Increase market share by closing new business in existing and new accounts.
• Support results with clinical expertise, planning, and compliant resource use.
• Assess product/competitor trends and market dynamics.
• Collaborate with team members and maintain continuous communication.
• Travel throughout the territory; overnight stays may be required.
