Job summary

National General is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive growth by overseeing independent agents in the Cincinnati area. You will exceed new business production, direct written premium, and loss ratio goals while expanding market share through strategic agency partnerships.

You will promote the full suite of insurance products, analyze market trends with data, and coach new managers to meet annual execution plans.

Qualifications

• 4 year Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience preferred.
• Knowledge of consultative selling and territory management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage agents to exceed new business production and written premium.
• Promote National General products through Independent Agencies.
• Develop and maintain agency appointment pipelines and support initiatives.
• Consult with independent agents to gather market intel and position products.
• Deliver on annual growth plans and drive household package coverages.
• Use production data to identify trends and address performance with training.
• Collaborate with agents and teams to adjust plans for results.
• Maintain CRM records of sales activities and client interactions.
• Serve as the primary liaison with agencies and industry associations; field-facing four days a week.
