Sumitomo Pharma America (SMPA) is seeking a highly motivated Territory Sales Manager – Specialty to cover a US remote territory. The role focuses on achieving sales objectives, expanding market share, and maintaining strong clinical relationships with accounts.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in Urology or with a product launch. Significant travel and compliant practices are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience is required.
• Track record of top-ranked sales performance (top 25% nationally) preferred.
• Experience in Urology and with a pharmaceutical launch is preferred.
• Knowledge of market access formulary positioning, including pull-through and push-through.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales objectives and grow market share in the assigned territory.
• Establish deep clinical and market-based relationships with customers.
• Increase market share by closing new business in key accounts.
• Provide clinical expertise and market insights to support sales strategies.
• Travel throughout the territory with possible overnight stays.
