Job summary

John Deere is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for Construction Equipment in Baltimore, MD with remote work eligibility. You will lead dealer relationships, drive sales of equipment and attachments, and shape regional strategies to meet revenue and margin targets.

Strong industry background, excellent communication, and the ability to travel up to 75% are required. A bachelor’s degree and deep knowledge of Deere products and dealer processes will help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction/off-road equipment industry or customer base.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven relationship-building.
• Ability to understand Deere and dealer business for strategic and tactical conversations.
• Creative thinker able to identify issues and solve problems with teams.
• Excellent time management, prioritization and planning.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary business lead with dealers to engage customers and drive sales of equipment and attachments.
• Collaborate with dealers to manage sales processes and deliver solutions.
• Lead in the territory to implement strategic initiatives with dealers.
• Drive achievement of sales targets and gross margin goals.
• Organize input, production and sales process training with dealers.
• Coordinate dealer use of product consultations and training resources.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or Engineering or equivalent related work experience
