Job summary

Mersen, a global expert in electrical specialties and advanced materials, seeks a Sales Engineer/Territory Manager for the Western USA. This role focuses on revenue growth across power generation, manufacturing, and transportation, with significant on-site support and customer engagement.

Based remotely from WA/OR/CA, you will travel extensively to service customers, demos, and trade shows. Strong English communication and engineering background are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• ~3+ years of technical outside sales experience; knowledge of rotating electrical equipment.
• Available for up to 60% travel to service customer base.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce CRM; follow safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategy across power generation, manufacturing, and transportation segments.
• Manage existing customer portfolio and develop new business opportunities.
• Provide on-site technical support including data collection, specification, and troubleshooting.
• Extensive travel within the Western USA, including trade shows and events.
• Achieve revenue targets and margin projections while growing market share.
• Maintain budgets, action plans, and monthly results reporting.
• Record tests, logs and data sheets for customer equipment.
