Job summary

Mersen is seeking a Sales Engineer/ Territory Manager for the Western USA. You will drive sales across power generation, manufacturing, and transportation, while managing existing accounts and developing new product opportunities with on-site technical support.

Based out of WA/OR/CA, this remote position requires up to 60% travel to customer sites and trade shows. Competitive base salary plus a 15% regional bonus, 5% additional bonus, and a company car are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of technical outside sales experience; relevant industry experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of rotating electrical equipment and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue targets and margins for the Western USA.
• Manage existing customers while developing new opportunities.
• Provide on-site technical support including data collection and troubleshooting.
• Use CRM to track leads, quotes, pricing, and opportunities.
• Travel extensively within the western United States to cover market segments.
