Job summary

Mersen, a global expert in electrical specialties and advanced materials, seeks a Sales Engineer/Territory Manager for the Western US. You will drive sales strategy, manage customers, and provide on-site technical support across power generation, manufacturing, and transportation sectors.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of outside sales experience, strong knowledge of rotating electrical equipment, and the ability to travel up to 60%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
3+ years’ technical outside sales experience; hydroelectric or motor/generator experience a plus.
Technical knowledge of rotating electrical equipment.
Excellent communication and English language skills.
Willingness to travel up to 60%.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
Safety-conscious and able to follow safety protocols.
Independent, self-motivated with time and logistics management.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Sales strategy and revenue growth across power generation, manufacturing, and transportation.
Manage existing customers and develop new opportunities for product offerings.
Provide on-site technical support including data collection and troubleshooting.
Travel extensively within the western United States, including trade shows.
