Job summary

Mersen is seeking a Sales Engineer/ Territory Manager for the Western USA to drive revenue across power generation, manufacturing and transportation. You will manage existing accounts, develop new opportunities and provide on-site technical support with data collection and troubleshooting.

Travel up to 60% across the western states is required. A Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ technical outside sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of rotating electrical equipment.
• Available for up to 60% travel.
• Proficient with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office; comply with safety training.

Responsibilities

• Achieve revenue targets and margins while increasing market share.
• Foster existing relationships and develop new opportunities.
• Collect technical data and analyze customer processes.
• Perform testing/diagnostics for customer solutions and innovations.
• Manage leads and opportunities in CRM; support budgeting and reporting.
• Interface with internal teams and possibly manage an independent rep network.
