Job summary

North American Slate, the American subsidiary of Rathscheck Schiefer, is seeking an energetic sales professional to identify and develop new customer relationships across the Southeastern region. You will negotiate terms, manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, and provide leadership with accurate forecasts and pipeline updates.

Qualifications

• Three years of outside sales experience, preferably construction-related.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% or more.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new customers and build lasting partnerships.
• Meet contractors, suppliers and architects and negotiate pricing, terms and concessions.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to deal close.
• Provide regular reporting on sales and projects to leadership.
• Forecast and monitor pipeline to hit sales targets.
• Handle leads within territory, send information and samples, coordinate logistics.
• Estimate, quote and analyze costs to competitively sell slate products.
• Maintain ongoing post-sale account management and upsell opportunities.
