Job summary

North American Slate, the American subsidiary of Rathscheck Schiefer, is seeking a dynamic sales professional to grow our slate products across the Southeastern region. You will prospect new customers, build lasting partnerships, and manage the full sales lifecycle from initial contact to close.

The role requires 3+ years of outside sales experience (construction-related preferred), willingness to travel up to 50%, and a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Three years of outside sales experience, preferably in construction.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new customers and build lasting partnerships.
• Meet contractors, suppliers, and architects while negotiating pricing and terms.
• Manage the entire sales lifecycle from prospecting to deal close.
• Provide regular sales forecasting and project oversight to leadership.
• Forecast and monitor pipeline to hit sales targets.
• Manage leads, send information and samples, and coordinate logistics.
• Prepare quotes and analyze costs to competitively sell slate products.
• Account manage from lead generation through post-sale activities.
