Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Territory Manager, Specialty Care Business Development to lead commercial underwriting and growth for Human Services and Nonprofit accounts in the New England territory. The role is remote with travel to agencies, aiming for profitable growth and strong client relationships.

You’ll drive underwriting for complex accounts, develop sales plans with brokers, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance service quality and retention.

Underwriting for multiple lines commercial insurance with authority
Experience serving Human Services & Nonprofit sectors
Strong business development and agency management skills

Responsibilities

Develop and underwrite commercial accounts through select agencies/brokers.
Drive production, profitability, and service objectives for assigned territory.
Lead strategy and execution of sales plans to increase new business and retention.
Monitor market conditions and analyze risk to win and renew accounts.
Coordinate with internal partners to improve underwriting and client outcomes.
Represent Nationwide with agencies, delivering timely service and proposals.
