Qualifications

• Multi-line commercial underwriting experience with underwriting authority.
• Human Services and Nonprofit industry experience.
• Strong business development skills with an agency-management orientation.

Responsibilities

• Market, manage and underwrite commercial business with select agencies/brokers.
• Lead and influence agencies by creating sales strategies and implementing processes.
• Drive profits and premiums to meet financial goals through planning and execution.
• Collaborate with internal partners to support Nationwide presence and growth.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with agencies, producers and key groups.
• Provide risk/coverage guidance and pricing discussions to improve retention and profitability.
• Communicate product changes and market intelligence to stakeholders.
• Visit agencies to develop new accounts and assess performance.
