Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings is seeking a Territory Manager to drive sales across Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, DC, and parts of PA. The role focuses on educating engineers, municipalities, and contractors about Certa-Lok products and building strong distributor relationships.

You will travel within the territory, target growth, and manage the sales process from prospecting to closing deals while working with multiple internal teams to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or related field.
• Must reside in or near Baltimore, MD, Northern VA, DC, Harrisburg, PA or Philadelphia, PA.
• Must have 3-5+ years outside sales experience.
• Must have multi-level pull-through sales experience.
• Self-starter, motivated, team-focused and results driven.
• Outgoing, good with numbers, relatable.
• Strong presentation, organizational, and time management skills.
• Demonstrated track record of exceeding corporate goals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong technical skills and aptitude; ability to present technical concepts with hands-on demonstrations to customers.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to travel within assigned geographic territory.
• Valid driver's license and good DMV record.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales goals and objectives set by management.
• Create demand by educating on the Certa-Lok product system to engineers, municipalities, contractors, and wholesale distribution.
• Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company's products and services.
• Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with distributors, engineers, municipalities, contractors, and other key contacts within the assigned geographic territory.
• Build and maintain awareness of industry products and competitor activities.
• Forecast monthly sales volume with distribution partners.
• Coordinate pricing policies and bid strategy with management.
• Plan and organize sales strategy by maximizing ROI for the territory.
• Attend local, regional and national trade shows.
