Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Territory Manager to drive CardioMEMS adoption across implanting centers and community hospitals. This remote role requires building relationships with physicians and HF clinics, presenting clinical data, and achieving sales targets while collaborating with Marketing and Education teams.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years healthcare sales, a proven quota achievement, and travel readiness (60–70%).

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of direct healthcare sales experience.
• 2+ years in cardiology structural heart/heart failure preferred.
• Track record of ≥100% to quota for 2 consecutive years.
• Opened 3–5+ net-new accounts/year or expanded underdeveloped accounts.
• Strong understanding of payor and insurance reimbursement landscape.
• Recent launch experience leading 2–3 program launches/year with sustainability.
• Willingness to travel 60-70% within territory.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with physicians, HF clinics, administrators, and key stakeholders; deliver presentations to drive adoption.
• Lead pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and value-based conversations.
• Plan and execute educational events focused on hemodynamics and GDMT.
• Provide day-of-procedure support and post-operative troubleshooting as needed.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and coordinate with Marketing and Education teams.
