Job summary

First Acceptance Insurance is seeking a Territory Manager to drive sales growth by prospecting, vetting, and appointing independent agencies within a defined region. You will manage relationships, train agencies on products and processes, and push for profitable volume while meeting KPIs.

The role requires a proven sales track record, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel up to 50% with potential 3 nights away weekly. A robust insurance background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years in Territory Manager or high‑volume sales.
• 2+ years of work experience in P&C insurance operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Salesforce, and other sales analytics reports.
• Proven track record of meeting sales and new business targets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% (up to 3 nights per week); company car and expenses provided.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, vet, appoint, and manage independent agencies to drive profitable sales growth in the territory.
• Meet and exceed territory volume and profit objectives.
• Schedule and execute daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly activities to achieve targets.
• Solicit new agencies and evaluate their potential for appointment.
• Train agencies on First Acceptance products, processes, and technology.
• Lead agencies in profit-sharing initiatives and sales programs.
• Increase producing agents through relationships and training.
• Monitor performance of agencies and address unprofitable results.
• Conduct agency visits and document activities in Salesforce.
