Job summary

Southern Trust Insurance Company is seeking a Territory Manager to drive development, growth and profitability for the assigned territory in partnership with our independent agents. The role focuses on agency management, development and retention, and new agency prospecting, with weekly travel and regular visits to the home office in Macon, Georgia.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Property and Casualty Insurance Marketing experience.
• Working knowledge of Office 365, Word, and Excel.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed sales outlines and a comprehensive plan for independent agencies to maximize profitability.
• Present to suitable agencies to build profitable relationships.
• Review agencies for improvement or termination as needed.
• Identify and train new agents/CSRs on products and services.
• Coordinate agency events and participate in face-to-face meetings with agents.
• Represent Southern Trust at business conventions or conferences.
