Job summary

OpenRoad Insurance is seeking a results-driven Territory Sales Manager to lead an East Coast or Texas region from a home office. You will drive production by recruiting and managing independent agencies, advancing them from first contact to submission and ongoing partnership.

You will work mainly by phone, video, and email with occasional travel to meet agencies and attend industry events. A base salary plus production bonus is provided to reward performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in insurance sales or B2B channel sales generating revenue.
• Experience building and managing agency partnerships.
• Comfortable with cold outreach and objection handling.

Responsibilities

• Own territory production plan and strategy to hit targets.
• Prospect and appoint new agencies through outreach and research.
• Drive agency from first conversation to submission to production.
• Build relationships with agency owners, producers, and CSRs.
• Train agents on appetite, product, and portal; reduce friction.
• Grow existing agents by uncovering new opportunities in their books.
• Manage pipeline visibly and report upcoming opportunities.
• Provide market feedback on competitors and gaps.
